Sales Rep- CT/Central NY
Independent Chemical Corporation, a distributor of chemical ingredients to manufacturers of foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, detergents and coatings, seeks a college graduate with degree in chemistry or science and wholesale or retail sales experience. Ideal candidate will be a real “people person” with a proven ability to sell and learn a wide range of new technologies. Candidate must be self starter, and extremely well organized, with strong computer, written and verbal English skills. No overnite travel or relocation. Territory is Middletown NY East to Groton CT and North to Danbury. Position includes salary, car allowance, commission and health insurance. Marketing Development
Independent Chemical seeks an individual to support our sales effort through new application/vendor development. Candidate will be responsbile for interfacing with sales to determine needs and potential value, and creating the sourcing to satisfy the need, and training the sales staff in the new technologies. Candidate must have working industry knowledge of manufacturing of cosmetics, nutrition, pharma, food, coatings, or a related industry, and be able to rapidly learn new technologies, and have a BS Chemistry or higher.
